So with all the different HD formats that look like they will be around for a while,do you see a situation where a freelancer who has spent the big bucks for one of the formats.. HDCAM/HDX900/ or XDCAM PDW700 for example… will have to say well if you want me,this is my camera,and you will have to rent a player… ofcourse this would put camera people in more remote area,s in a good place as they have less competition….
But it sounds like this is a repeat client and they want George as much as they want the F900? bit of a risk ofcourse.. but except for people that can afford 2 or 3… 2/3 inch chip top end HD camera,s.. the one camera people might have to start sticking their necks out for the format they have bought into,and rely …. hope 🙂 that its also their own skill thats part of the clients choice.. not just the format…

So if there is a noise going on during an interview,a say 1 min wild track of just the noise can be used to totally cancel out the noise??
Is it a very time consuming/expensive process? does it work on all noises,or some better than others? does it have to be a constant noise ?

ok thanks.thats a good idea…I guess it was one of the bigger mag lites?
It seems they want a very flat and soft light,all for the soft light,but I like to have some shadow/modelling on the face.Looks pretty boring otherwise.Its just a head and shoulders shot really.
Maybe it looks good on 35mm and graded to Timbuktu and back?

I wondered if this eye light was used even with other lighting to give some sparkle? in the eye,s
Personally its not the sort of lighting technique I would ever use… but if its requested thought I should get some advise from others on this forum.
I could always refuse and spit the dummy …. haha

In fairness it is actually written on the side of the cassette.You just need to keep it in a separate pocket of your camera bag.
