All set to user.Happened with both varicams I have used.Just cant work it out at all,how can this setting be so difficult?its really bugging me!
Without bars its 0000003052,when I put to set 15870230,over bars the same,what ever I change it to,its now become by magic 15870252? whats this about!

Hi there

Just got back from shooting with the vari beast.The user bit when bars is on says 13720152
without bars 00003052.With Sonys I would use the User bit for date and tape number,esp if going over 23 tapes,is this not possible with the varicam? or can i use these first 4 0,s of the 00003052,but this wasnt with the bars on?

I guess your Pal in NZ,but if I shoot 29.97(why cant the whole world be Pal 😉 I believe this is the drop frame rate of 30fps ?
Is it then necessary to change time code to drop frame,why have this function anyway?how is this different from the CineAlta that has a setting for 29,97?
Sorry for so many questions!!!! have to stay up late to watch the German F1 anyway! sad I know.
