Why do you think that the clients
fcp xpress can play back the clips in the viewer. and
They can make a seq and it will play down audio – vid has to be rendered but it will play.

In the browser they are coming up as none in field dominance column. I am seeing what looks like field mismatch on my bcast monitor when I play the seq down. I did find that if i control click on none it allows me to change from none to lower. In avid world field dominance matters w. tiffs….

of course i looked in the settings tab and capture, THERE IS NO

“Capture a Single Frame of Video Only”” selected in the Digitize Settings”

that i can find. Also for your memory…. there is no digitize option under setting on an avid express pro that i can find.
hence the problem.

thanks- and just to be clear this is something that I cannot do in boris title 3d that is included in my FCP studio. do you know if boris red will open within FCP as a title tool.

sounds good – can you recall titles saved in Boris Library Browser, alter them and then resave them with a different file name? I need to be able to keep a style, eg a lower third and change just the name.

thanks – thought usb 2 would work…. I will try to copy media to the usb drive,(it is the porshe design and much more portable) and edit from there…. if that will work.
