When manipulating a shot in the viewer, how do I copy and paste keyframes in motion tab? – thanks

you don’t. copy and pasting individual keyframes (or a selection of keyframes) is not a current feature of FCP.
you can copy (cmd-c) and then paste all keyframes of a given attribute set using the Paste Attributes command (opt-v) , or by saving/applying a favorite motion
