Sure enough…If I set the AV device to none and I select the audio to built in, I only get a 44.1 sample rate. If I change the AV output to Firewire I get a 48k and a 32k choice. But under the output to tape is different setting, if I choose none I still only get a 44.1k setting.

I can only set a 44.1k sample rate! What broke? QT 6.5, OS 10.3.9…FCP HD Dual 1gig G4.

You’ll get that raining feeling almost every day. But you could also search for “day for night” to get some ideas on color correcting your scene to give it a different more surrealistic mood.

What is your boardset? Exact version of Quicktime and M100 software? Which OS? We also had odd problems on one boardset that was not the P6000…tried new drives everything. We thought it was a conflict because we updated Quicktime to 5 from 4. Can’t recall if going back to QT4 fixed it. It was a bugger of a problem however, and we feel your pain!

  • Another quick way might be to duplicate the first layer with the wiggler and change the parameters of the wiggler. This will give you two layers working with different values, which sometimes gives it a more organic random look.

  • If you want a higher quality look and use lots of graphics on your lables, Professional Label has glossy inkjet face and spine labels that are reasonably priced. They look great off your inkjet. I have the Epson 960 and it has been a workhorse for a year and a half now.

Depending on what you’re doing, why not split the clip after the keyframes, then duplicate the clip and move it after. Then if it’s footage, slip it to match up the timecodes. Another way to use paste attributes a little differently is to duplicate the clip with the keyframes, then copy the footage you want to fill it and when you paste attributes, paste the content rather than the keyframes. This pastes content into the keyframes you originally wanted to duplicate.

Interesting…so in your case you have two cards…my sonnet card is a two channel card and is supposed to to hardware RAID. When I discovered one channel was only giving me abut 15 MB/sec I went to the one channel…but still got lackluster performance…

    Hmmmm

Anyone else have the Sonnet 133 RAID card in a G4?
