    I did the update for OS 10.3.9 on my dual 1 gig and now I have strange display behavior. First the displays System Pref won’t even load. I click on the icon and it just says “Loading Displays”. It never loads. I have the dual channel ATI Radeon 9000 hooked up to two Mitsubishi CRTs. Now there is a “gap” between the two monitors when I move my mouse from the right monitor over to the left. The mouse sort of disappears for about 4 inches of mouse travel before it appears on the left monitor.

    I loaded the latest ATI driver and restarted. Anyone else with odd display behavior in 10.3.9? On my G4 400 I have two display cards and it is working fine. Might be the dual channel card…

    Oops…it was the Aurora Pipe card with the Desktop Preview enabled caused the void between the two monitors.

    Turned it off and all was well.
