    Hi there

    Basically Ive scanned in some hand rendered letters that Id like to try and make look a florescent sign flickering…ive been trying the wiggler on the opacity but its not great…its ok, but I was just wondering if anyone had any specific tips on this kind of thing?

    Wiggling opcaity should work, but maybe try Glow and Strobe with a good electricity soundFX.

    Another quick way might be to duplicate the first layer with the wiggler and change the parameters of the wiggler. This will give you two layers working with different values, which sometimes gives it a more organic random look.

    Look through the Text animation presets, there are one or two that do exactly that.
