nevermind I found the instructions

Steve, I looked at my motherboard and found it will handle a Quad Core but getting that one is going to be difficult. Unless my computer distributor can get it cheaper, I will have to wait until those suckers drop.
Thanks for the advice.

John, is it possible to do that on a moving person?

Thanks Stephen, I used to do that in Cubase, but the envelope was always on the audio track so I wasn’t sure I could do that in this program. Although I am finding I can do a lot of things that we thought we were going to have to purchase a different DAW. But it can all be done in this package.

So I can hook up all 8 channels at once and record all at once. I wish they still made the Inspire 1394. It might not been very good as a chain interface, but it was the best external soundcard America has ever seen.

Well it won’t arm unless you have a audio device chosen. I use a Inspire 1394 that I swap between 2 computers and I forgot to hook it up. My regular sound card stinks too bad to use it in any descent audio anything.

Can VP10 be used as a DAW by itself? Also can it be used as a multitracking recording software where you plug in a Presonus 8 port audio interface to record?

The fortunate thing going for me is I am a sound engineer and I have all the correct sound equipment. But wasn’t sure if the audio fix in post was not good or I was doing something wrong. It is a whole lot easier for me to record with the filming than what I was doing.
Thank you!

Sorry, I had been using the trial version of VP10. My finance committee gave me permission to get the paid version. I needed it this past Sunday but the pastor locked up the credit card account so I couldn’t get it to Monday. When they unlocked it finally so I could order the software, the card wouldn’t go through.
I have cutting my window of opportunity to get the video edited so I could go to work. It was all getting aggravating. I finally got a call from the administrator telling me the credit card billing address had been change to a different one and not telling me. So the card wouldn’t go through.
Finally got the software yay. Then the VP10 started running sluggish. Steve Mann showed the problem to that and finally I posted the video lastnight 26 hours past the time it was suppose to be online.
You can look at it. https://www.northislandchurch.com/archive
When the window comes up look at 8/7/2011 Praise and worship or the other one 8/7/2011 A place for His Presence. These have been compressed but they still look real good compared to what I used to do.

Once I put the video down onto the timeline may I delete it in the project media window? Or will that delete it on the time line?
Blessings!
