I understand the confusion and I should have explained it better.
I am using VP 10e 32 bit on my editing computer and when I render a video it takes a long time before I can use my computer again. My computer only has 4 gigs of ram and is only a dual core. My wife’s computer is a 4 core and more up to date than my computer. I know these video’s will render faster on her machine so I was going to render my files on her computer while she isn’t on the computer. I didn’t want to install VP on her machine and was hoping there was way to render not using VP? So is there a way? If not I’ll install VP.
Thank you!

I am only looking for the one stereo. We only want to record live instead of recording to a cd.
Thanks guys, I am going to check this out tonight.

I can once I get over there. This is not a sound card per se but a video/audio mixer input card. There are no outputs on the card.

No actually I couldn’t see the device in Vegas at all. I could see it in any other program I was using just not Vegas. i will go back over there to see if I can see it as I am not pushed today as I was before church yesterday.

I couldn’t get Vegas to see the signal coming in. I knew how to get all the rest to work but didn’t see the signal. I run a Osprey video/audio mixer card and I was able to pull up a cheap audio recording program and record. Just I want to use what I got.

there is a program on avs4you.com that is the same price but you get 20 software packages with it. If I can’t get the DAW program to work I will purchase it.
Blessings!

Thanks John, that wasn’t it but when I got there I found the device type was set to the wrong thing.

No it is working like it should. I have checked all the obvious things to making the sound not work. I can load another video and it works correctly or I can load the video that isn’t producing a sound in another editor or just play it in a player and it works correctly.

I have a K World USB capture device. But if Vegas can’t receive it that way, then I have to capture it in my Video Recorder by AVS4You or Wirecast and then convert it to avi then import it into Vegas which sucks, but I guess I have to do what I have to do.

Ok y’all are missing what I am saying. I want to take my vcr out to my computer and record it. Can Vegas do that? I have a program from AVS4You that is a video recorder and Wirecast that I ended up using to make my video’s. Thinking that Vegas would take an input video signal and record it.
