Ok I got the paid software. I have changed nothing. I didn’t download anything new, just put the code in. Loaded the video/audio tracks. Now the whole package is sluggish.

I will match up the audio with the video in the beginning of the video and 5 minutes into it, the audio is off from the video. In the trial version this never happened. In fact I did 4 weeks worth of editing without a hitch, but now the video hangs.

Help! Please! Is there buffers I can increase to fix this, or any other recommedndation?

    Blessings!

All that you need do is to enter the serial number. Nothing else should change.
Except – entering the serial number unlocks some CODECS licensed by Sony. (Sony is not so generous to pay for a CODEC license for a free trial).

What is your source media and what is your project format?

Found the problem. Lastnight while I was downloading it to the computer I left it running 3 hours after the video stopped. I cut that portion off but apparently the program still thought it was there.

I pulled up last weeks raw footage and everything was fine. I am redownloading it, but I going to try to do it digitally first.

    Thank you!

The timeline does not determine what media Vegas loads, but the Project Media window does.

Once I put the video down onto the timeline may I delete it in the project media window? Or will that delete it on the time line?

    Blessings!

No, the “lightning icon” only deletes unused media. If it’s on the timeline, then it is used and won’t be deleted.
