But… you will have to resize the 4:3 images to 16:9.

I”m not sure what you mean by question #1 but regarding question #2 you will not need to convert SD material to DV to integrate it into the HD timeline. I’m not sure what kind of SD material it is at this point (Beta, DV, Digibeta, Uncompressed, etc.).

The best way I’ve found to integrate SD material is to do a TRUE up convert. You need special equipment to do that like a Teranex. That equipment multiplies the pixel count and really makes it look good. If you just bring in SD material into an HD timeline you will not get the same result since you will only have about 1/6 of the pixels needed for HD. Of course there may be a new and better way of doing this that is much less expensive. I would be interested in what our other Cow Friends have to say.

Well if this is for a “news” purpose then you might have some “fair-use” license. But if you are independent that is going to be hard to prove. The best thing is to go back to the copyright holders and get permission after explaining what you are doing. They probably will realize that you have no money to pay them and they will grant you informal permission for limited use. Use IMDB.com to locate the producer.

Open a new sequence. Copy only that section to the New sequence then export to SoundTrack it should work fine.

Corporate video. Just a crude attempt at humor. And yes. That was a double entendre.

ASCAP BMI lists Dylan as the writer so I guess the tune was original to him. I just went on ITunes and purchased a copy. Thanks for bringing this Dylan tune back to me. Great lyrics. And you are right..the words still ring true today. I think this song would make a great video to set up for a sermon on how trivial this life is and maybe call people back to what really matters most – corporate video. NOT! Are you feelin’ me?

Are you being funny or does that really happen. I’ve always had visions of someone opening a time vault in about 500 years and wondering what the strange shiny discs are.
