I’m having a problem I’ve never run into before. I find I need to cut out track 2 of a stereo audio track because of unwanted noise on A2. Apparently this track was digitized as a stereo audio clip along with the video. We always digitize as 2 mono audio tracks so we never have this problem. I’ve tried panning the stereo track and that does solve most of the problem but when I do my final mix I have to have that track panned center. How can I cut track 2 without cutting track one. When I try to lock track one and the video and delete track 2 it will not let me do that.

Select the track, go to menu Modify> deselect “Stereo Pair” do back to Modify> deselect Link. Select the track you want to delete and press delete. Set the pan to 0 on the remain track.
