All layers parented to the layer above itself.

This does not allow me to position align all the slices as they all more together.

I really do need to assign all the layers to the one above. It does quite a different thing. After Ive linked them all to the layer above they concertina out correctly.

Sorry Im talking about aligning the position not time.
I really do need to do what Im asking . Link all the layer slices to the one above and then position them.

This has always bugged me about after effects. The main reason for me why AE is so unintuitive is that you cant simply effect part of one layer.
Either effects on layers should have their own masks or the Adjustment layer should be switchable to all below or only below layer. So simple.
Precomposing is like juggling when you cant see the other balls.

I found this useful to spot heal in premiere pro
And just as easy as in after effects. Easier if you cant be arsed to create multiple new recompressed files.

The only difference I use is to add a levels effect instead of the fast blur
and adjust the (RGB)Gamma accordingly to remove the dark spot.

No key framing is necessary as dust doesn’t move in shots!

Im using this technique to remove dust spots on canon 5d mkII video files.

i would delete all the extra folders and files that premiere creates and let it rebuild the project folders.

Or another safer way of doing it would be to move your video files, not previews etc, to a new directory along with your premiere project file only and then resync them when it asked for where the files are when opening it for the first time . It will then rebuild all the other silly files and folders that these programs make nowadays.

Have you tried editing in 60p and stretching the slow mo footage to 50% speed?
