    Hi,
Yes, I render in Vegas then open DVDA and preview it on my external TV monitor. Everything is in place in preview. I then burn to DVD and upon reviewing from the DVD it is off location. I have burned just this clip alone and with one before and after and still get the same results. Thanks, Ray

    Thanks John,
Many are high resolution. I will reduce them some, but in the past when I done this I lost some clarity which is understandable. I am zooming in on approx. half of these stills. I know that when ever you manipulate a still picture you either deal with flicker and/or clarity issues. As you have recommended in the past, setting the gaussian blur to .01 has helped me with many stills. As always, thanks for the help, Ray

October 7, 2008 at 5:15 pm in reply to: Is There Solid Color for Pro Type Titler??

    Hi,
Looks like I jumped the gun. I figured out what I was doing wrong and I apoligize to you and everyone else reading this post.
I had my video in a time line “over” my Pro Type Titler instead of “under” it. I had it above because I reduced the opacity of that particular event thinking that it had to be above instead of below. Found out I can get the same result by placing the event under the Pro Type Titler in which it leaves me a nice solid text. Above it leaves it transparent.
Again, I’m sorry and as always thank you for your help. Ray

    Hi,
Thanks for the reply. After double clicking on my text and highlighting it I have to escape the Text Edit window in order to reach the Effects window. By doing so, my text is no longer highlighted. Therefore by doing what you suggested isn’t working out for me. When in my Effects window the opacity is set at 100%.
Is there a way to get to the effects window while in the Text edit mode? Thanks, Ray

    I hear ya, Noah
Thanks for the reply. I have searched this problem to death without any solutions. There are others faced with the exact same thing. Updates was the first thing I went after, all my drivers are up to date. I chose windows XP Pro over Vista due to all the issues that needed to be resolved at the time. I really enjoy using Sony Vegas and DVDA. In addition, this forum has really helped me get my feet wet and well on the way from all the expertise of all in it.
Thanks for the input and “if” and that’s a big “IF” I get this resolved, I will let everyone know. Thanks again, Ray

October 4, 2008 at 11:18 pm in reply to: Another Vegas Copy Paste Question??

    Good Evening John,
I’m not sure what you mean by “swiping the keyframes with my mouse.” Is this done on the time line in the keyframe area? Also, you mentioned it simpler to do what I want to do with nested project’s. Am I right to assume projects that are rendered? Thanks again for everything. Ray
