    Hi John,
    Thanks for your help! Your right, mixing both does give you problems. I’m trying numerous things without any progress. I’ll try your suggestion and render in progressive. As always, a BIG Thanks for the help! Ray

    Hi John,
    Yes indeed! Your instructions placed me right where I want to be! I can’t thank you enough for all the help you gave me! I’d like to add that you and Spot are two awesome trainers. I can’t say enough about your VASST training videos. I’m about to upgrade to Vegas 9.0 and am looking forward to seeing what training you will offer. Again, I sincerely thank you and everyone that has helped me with this issue. Ray

    Hi Adam,
    Thanks for the reply. In the main menu I can create several play buttons by highlighting play then use the drag / ctrl method. At this point I can take each one and set the in and out points wanted. This works great for showing each chapter. Once played it reverts back to the main menu.
    By wanting text and image buttons with animation, I can’t place them all on one page. This is why I made a Scene Selection, 3 per page. All work great, but like I said, I can’t make an End Action to revert back to that page. I now understand that it can’t be done. Is there a way to insert pages to split up all the buttons that’s created on the Main Menu? I hope I’m not confusing you or anyone that may be trying to help me. Your help is most appreciated. Thanks again, Ray

    Hi,
    I found a DVR that is switchable from MPEG 2 to MPEG 4 (either one can be used). When I record should I record in MPEG 2 for the best quality for downloading into Sony Vegas? As always, I sinserely appreciate all your help. Thanks, Ray

    Hi Danny,
    Here is a helmet cam that I feel is the best. It shows in the Specs that it is MPEG-4. The following is the link. As always, thankyou for all your help. Ray

    Hi,
    This is in addition to the above post;
    I don’t understand why it’s showing two different files, due to only having one project.
    I just rendered a 30 second event (clip) in Vegas as MainConcept MPEG2 with the Template as DVD Architect NTSC Widescreen Video Stream which I called Test. In DVDA I draged my 30 second Test render from Vegas into the menu window in DVDA then tried to burn. The following is what is showing with that one in DVDA;

    !Track 1 ‘Video’ in ‘Menu 1’ Cannot be recompressed because its bit rate is too low.
    !Track 1 ‘Video’ in ‘Test’ Cannot be recompressed because its bit rate is too low.
    (i)The audeo on track 1 of ‘Test” will be compressed.

    October 19, 2008 at 1:15 pm in reply to: Lens Flare Off DVDA Burn?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the replies. I tried all that was suggested. I did redo that certain still along with the Lens Flare in which it worked out on DVD. I don’t know what the problem was, but all is ok since I redone it. I’d like to add that I have about 70 stills in this project. I used Lens Flare on approx. 30 of them with no problems with the exception of this one.
    As always, I appreciate all your help and this forum. Thanks, Ray
