    Hi Guys,

I have just completed my first Verbatim DVD+R Dual Layer from my trip from Spain which was 1 hour 24 minutes long. Yes, I know. Why didn’t I just use a regular DVD-R? This is just a test. I used Ultimate S Lite and all my chapter markers came in perfectly. The Verbatim DVD+R Dual Layer worked in all my players from the newest to the oldest. Next I’ll try the DVD-5 and see what happens.

    Hi Guys,

I turned my GPU off and now my computer is super fast even with the preview window on. For an 1hr:23 minutes:50sec video rendered to mpg took roughly 23 minutes:40 sec to finish. I have plenty of pictures, video and transitions in this video. There was no freezing, errors or crashes during the render. So far so good. Thanks for the info on how to get to the Internal Tab in preferences.

    Vegas Pro Experts,

Thanks again for your answers and once again I have learned something new in Sony Vegas Pro12. This is what CreativeCow is all about.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for your answers. The reason for the question is I have always used Sony Vegas Pro 8 in the past and turned off the preview window in the preferences during render so it’s easier on the cpu. Since I have upgraded to Sony Vegas Pro 12, it is now a whole new learning experience for me, it’s like learning all over again. Now I’m shooting some video and pictures with the Canon 5D mark lll. Now trying to learn what format to render in and finding my way through to the final DVD process is a challenge.
I’m always up to a challenge no matter what or how long it takes.

    Thanks again,

June 17, 2013 at 6:34 am in reply to: How do you increase the toolbar size?

    Hi Graham,

I originally went with the recommended screen resolution specs for windows 7 which is 1920×1200. With these settings it makes my toolbar really small in my Sony Vegas Pro12, DVD Architect, Photoshop and Lightroom4.I thought there was a way to increase the size of the tool bar within the program but, I guess not. So I changed the resolution specs on my screen to 1080×1024 which is a lot better for all my tool bars and made my desktop icons the smallest I can get them. For now I’m happy with the size until maybe in the future something is done within the program itself to change the size of the toolbar buttons. When you start to push 60 years young you need stronger glasses unless you’re really blessed with good eyes.
    Thanks

    Hi Ed,
It’s always nice hearing from you. Thanks for the link and it worked fine. I didn’t see you at the Sony Event at NAB this year, maybe next year. Thanks again Ed.
