    Hi Stephen,

You must take your Canon GL2. I’ve been to Hawaii twice and it’s beautiful there. Also, make sure you have a memory card in your camcorder fo taking pictures unless you put it onto tape. When I go on vacations, I take my Canon GL2 & my Canon 20D with me. Make sure you carry an extra battery with you.
    Enjoy the Beautiful Nature.

    Hello STYLZ,

I can’t help you there beause I started out using Vegas 4 plus DVD Authoring with Architect 2. It’s not hard because I have all my tutorials by my side. I went to NAB and I like what I see in Vegas 6 plus Architect 3. I read all the forums and learn from everyone elses mistakes. They all converted over to Vegas. It’s HOT and it Rocks, if you know what I mean.

    Good Luck!

My wife says she likes things hot, so I think I’ll let my wife try it first. What a nice guy I am. Ha! Ha! 🙂

April 16, 2005 at 9:27 pm in reply to: GL2 stops in the middle of filming!

    Hello David & Don,

Unfortunately I have the same problem. I could have my GL2 on and all of a sudden the GL2 turns off by itself and turns back on. Very bad when your ready to film. Plus, my switch on my tape door sticks to where I can’t open it. I have to force it to the right a little and then I’m able to slide the switch. Also, while I’m filming, a message pops up stating that my heads are dirty, this is even after I use a head tape cleaner. I definitely need to send in my GL2 into the shop for some maintenance work.

    Hi Mike,

I’ve noticed that your a neighbor. I didn’t realize there were Vegas users that live so close. I’m going to NAB and check out the new features of Vegas. Then, I’ll upgrade to the new version of Excalibur, Neon & Tsunami when I get back. Hope to win big on the tables.

April 7, 2005 at 6:34 am in reply to: auto vs manual audio levels

    Hi Ruby,

I also have the Canon GL2, Beachtech adapter & the Sennheiser G2 wireless Mic. I always keep mind on the manual audio settings. Make sure you have the attenuator turned off (Page 57 of the manual). If left on, it will reduce the volume.
    Good Luck.

April 3, 2005 at 6:34 pm in reply to: How do you insert a line between text ?

    Liam,

Thanks for your response to my question. Even the simple shortcut keys are forgotten about. I’ve been editing my trip from Mexico for hours and I knew it was the insert key but, it wastn’t inserting a space where I wanted it. Actually, it wasn’t doing anything. I found out that I had to press the F lock button on the Microsoft keyboard that enabled the insert key.
I knew after a good night sleep I would find the problem.

    Thanks Liam.

  • Thanks for the reply,

I had taken a snapshot of the Cruise Ship and then I was able to place it to a folder on my external harddrive and brought it into Photoshop.

    Thanks again, that was easy.
