  • Is it possible to take a snapshot from the timeline and bring it into Photoshop?

    Hello Vegas Pros,

I’ve taken a snapshot of a Cruise Ship. I would like to bring it into Photoshop but, can’t figure it out as of yet. Is it possible? If it is, looking for some direction.

    Thanks,

Just click on “Open” in photoshop…point to the directory where you saved the snapshot from Vegas. Should be able to open the file right up.

Just copy to clipboard in Vegas and open clipboard in photoshop, or
save snapshot to file in vegas, save it where you want and open it in photoshop

    Thanks for the reply,

I had taken a snapshot of the Cruise Ship and then I was able to place it to a folder on my external harddrive and brought it into Photoshop.

    Thanks again, that was easy.

i can save snapshots just fine.. but does anyone know how to turn off the resizing it does? i want to save out a 720×480 image, NOT a 654×480 image. anyone know how to turn off any kind of resizing it does?

655×480 is correct when adjusting between square and non-square pixels. If you really, really, really, want the full 720×480 (even though the aspect will be wrong) then “copy to clipboard” instead and then paste into Photoshop.
