I think like Marcos. If your time-line, back in FC, is HD the best you can export from AE is a Sheers YCbCr 444{4}. And half the file size.

An XML is basycally a list of shoots, and there are many parameters from the original project that are omited in the XML. Some times a proper FC project is unable of keep track of the render files so I don’t think a XML is suited to do that.
What you can do is to recover the render files and try to set them in the new sequence. Just import them as any other footage.

Walter, in PAL-land we’ve got the disgrace of having some codecs (DV, DVCPro25, DVCPro50..) “lower-first” and other codecs (8/10b Unc..) “Upper-first”.
When you import those kind of footage to FC, the application set the field order as I mentioned. When you import Animation, FC set “Upper-first”. If you export a graphic from AE to set in a for example DVCPro50 sequence is better to export it Lower-firs, so you don’t have to “shift-fields” in FC. However you have to be careful and change the ‘field order” in the Brownser because 100% FC will set it “Upper-first”.

Before to try any other thing. Save your movie with other name and try to render.

Don’t warry. To set the proper field-order, first take the clip away from the time-line (or at least take away the “Shift fields” filter).
Them go to the Brownser> Select the clip> Go to the columm “Field Dominance” (or “Field order” don’t remember)>Left-click (or Control-clic)> Select the proper Field order.
When ever you inport something to FC you should have a look to the “Field Order” and”Aspect ratio” FC don’t know when the footage is Annamorphic unless you tell him.

This is the truth and in fact is a very low number of images per second. When projecting a film, each photogram is shown twice (by mean of a mechanic courtain) to avoid flickering. (BTW I learnt this in the school and I’ve never read nothing about. Not any comment in any forum or any other piece of techtnicall information).
To look for a Cine-look is nice (I love it) but a bit of a fashion. The video is reaching the color richness of the film and apport many other advantages. No the Cine is the one that has to evolve.
