FCp to FCP 5 via xml with renders
like the topic says, is there any way to bring a FCP 6 sequence to FCP5 keeping the renders?, i ask because we only have 1 mac pro, and 4 G5 editing, so i want to use the Mac Pro for rendering purposes,i have tried, the XML and it opens the sequences fine, but no renders, any help will be appreciated it, thanks

An XML is basycally a list of shoots, and there are many parameters from the original project that are omited in the XML. Some times a proper FC project is unable of keep track of the render files so I don’t think a XML is suited to do that.
What you can do is to recover the render files and try to set them in the new sequence. Just import them as any other footage.

The easy and best way to do this would be to upgrade both systems to FCP6

Yes. And if you buy a Roll Roice you can drive more comfortable:-)
