shane the al these clips are the subclips, they were renamed in FCP before bringing on to the timeline. I am working on a film project so they were named as per the scene/shot/take pattern. As i said, i can see different names in FCP sequence for CLIP1,CLIP2 and so .. but not in AVId( after exporting it through Auto duck in FCP).

I will raise this issue with auto duck people.
Thanks for your response, really appreciate this.

thanks job and greener… I got to know about Pro Import and Pro Export FCP pluggins ..
For anyone who wants to know more about it please refer below video tut.

    https://automaticduck.com/products/pifcp/

I understand that exporting AVID edits in OMF or AAF files will let you import edits as it is in FCP

In this tutorial i didnt get what is ‘automatic duck’? Is this a software ?

I call them “AVID monitors” because .. when i take a dump of the same footage and play it in VLC player its playing with correct brightness…now while doing this i have not changed my computer .. the monitor remains the same … only thing changing here is the player …VLC plays it fine .. but not the AVID (thats why AVID monitors)

Thanks for replies .. this is my first post and i am really happy to see all you guys giving your inputs on my query

    Thanks to all
