I have exported a sequence from FCP to AVID using automatic duck. I am facing a problems related to the clip names which are present on the sequence.
    E.g.-
let us say, on my fcp timeline i have below clips

    CLIP1+CLIP2+CLIP3+CLIP4

Now when i export it through Auto Duck, I get below sequence with duplicate clip names.

    CLIP1+CLIP1+CLIP1+CLIP4

You see, I have two clips having same name. Here though the clips are correct(in their content), its just their names which are same.

I am not able to understand why i am getting the same name for two different clips.

    Any comments are welcome.

    Thanks

I wonder…are CLIP1, CLIP2 and CLIP3 all from the same media file, but they not subclips? Based
on some architectural differences between FCP and Avid those three clips cannot all have different names in the Avid unless “CLIP1”, “CLIP2” and “CLIP3” were actually subclips.

shane the al these clips are the subclips, they were renamed in FCP before bringing on to the timeline. I am working on a film project so they were named as per the scene/shot/take pattern. As i said, i can see different names in FCP sequence for CLIP1,CLIP2 and so .. but not in AVId( after exporting it through Auto duck in FCP).

I will raise this issue with auto duck people.
Thanks for your response, really appreciate this.
