If you export a frame on the right postion in the timeline, it will be in the project window. You can put it then in the timeline and adjust the duration. Don’t forget to put flicker removal on the still frame.

Multicam edit is nice for an interview with 2 or 3 camera’s and insert material.
For a concert with 4 camera’s it is very difficult to switch to another camera exactly on the music. So you need a lot of time to make corrections after the multicam edit.
I advise you to edit the concert with 9 camera’s manually. It is time consuming indeed, but you have a lot more control on the process and less corrections.
Tip: Create a temporary picture-in-picture screen of all tracks so you can see all camera’s during editing.

Hello George,

In Adobe Audition you have to assign each track to a certain loudspeaker. For example:
Track 1 to front left
Track 2 to front right
Track 3 to rear left
Track 4 to rear right
If the music should come from the rear speakers, you have to put this music on track 3 and 4. Track 3 panned to left and track 4 panned to right.
If you have also soundeffects you can put these on track 5 and higher and assign these tracks each to one of the 4 loudspeakers.

To assign the tracks to the loudspeakers: View>Multichannel decoder.
On the left side of the Multichannel decoder you have the track list. The blue cirkel is the surround planner.
Select in the track list one of the tracks and move the white dot to one of the loudspeakers. Do that for all tracks.
Then click on Export in the Multichannel Encoder window and select “Export as one interleaved 6 channel wave file” and import this in Premiere to put on a 5.1 track.

Select all clips and audio on all tracks by selecting the “arrow right in dotted square box” tool and click, with button pressed, on the first clip.
Click the right mouse button and select copy.
Open a new sequence and after Edit>Past you have a copy in the new sequence.

If it is a one time projection, you can save your timeline to miniDV and connect a miniDV camera or player to the beamer and the soundsystem.
