Is this title actaully set to roll/crawl?
If so you should see it on screen and have the options set to offscreen for you. that will push all the text off the screen when it is in the timeline as a clip for you.

Yes,i have it set to crawl.
What i mean is that i have a few sentences of text i need to scroll across the bottom of the screen. However, when i type it all into a title, only the first 3-4 words scroll, the rest stays off screen.

You have to type after the last word so much blanks that the text can move till the end.

    Good luck

The problem you describe has never happened to me. I would be certain you have the crawl setting, type something that is just alskdnf;lkasdnfhasdfj garble until it runs off the screen, set the roll/crawl options to offscreen and see how that works.
Otherwise there is something wrong with your install. Reinstall the software.
