Best compression for projecting on to a screen
Can anyone advise me on the best codec/compression to use and if I should use QT, AVI or DVD to project onto a 10x7ft screen. Obviously, I need the quality to remain in tact. The audience is around 90 people.
I am rendering 3D animation (720×576) and using Sorenson 3 compression in Max and Premiere.

A DVD is often more dependable for projected presentations and the quality is better than anything but uncompressed and that wont play on most computers (bitrate too high).

If it is a one time projection, you can save your timeline to miniDV and connect a miniDV camera or player to the beamer and the soundsystem.

Guys, thanks for your advice. I will opt for the DVD option as it will be in a Hotel and they have the DVD and PC.
I will export to DVD from premiere. I will also have a Director Projector file ready to play before and after the DVD.
