After some researh I found that the Premiere project file (*.pproj) can be opened in a text processor (wordpad for instance works fine). The “seach/replace” command enables to batch replace the *.mpg in the Project window into the corresponding *.m2ts. When I reopen the project in Premiere, the mpg sequences are automaticaly changed into *.m2ts. All the transitions and effects remain unchanged.

You are right, these commands are in the “Help” section of the Keyboard Customization. Now I have reset everything. Thank you. -
The problem that I have is not how to define a shortcut but it is that in the Timeline window some options are unavailable such as:
Go to sequence end
Go to sequence start
Play/Stop -
Although these shortcuts cannot be defined, is there a Windows or Premiere CS5 file that could have been damaged?

I also have powered my HV30 several times by the same method and the last time I have done that,it has turned out that after the camcorder had been feeded continously for 3 hours I am now experiencing misfunctionning. I believe that the camcorder software has been damaged.

Thank you for the information. In fact I am not looking for an update but I would like to reinstall the native firmware because my camcorder is not behaving normally.
The webpage that you are referencing says that ” The update does not apply to the VIXIA HV30″; do you know if it is possible to download the native software? -
Thank you for this information. I do not understand the difference Premiere between the files stored in memory and media data base.
