    Hi,

I was able to delete the Prefs but once I open the project the problem remains.

I’ve actually started again from scratch, thank god I just started the to work on it.

Which begs the question, is there anything else I could do if that issue was to happen again?

    Phil

ps, thanks for the Win7 tip

  • Actually it was faster to make a movie out of the RAM preview than to render the whole thing!

I found the template on a free website, I guess I wanted to have my cake and eat it too but alas 🙁

    Thanks Paul & Vishesh

    Thanks Fellas!

Kim : Do you know how to reset the values in the Auto-trace window?

I kinda blindly fooled around with them and now I can’t get back to the default values for comparison.

    Thanks

    Hi Vishesh

All good except how do I apply “separate XYZ”

I am still not sure how to make the transition between the images as seen the example but I’ll keep experimenting.

    Thanks

    Thanks Fellas!

Indeed Vishesh, after a couple of experiments I believe the stroke seems to do the trick.

    Thanks Ted,

I mainly wanted proxy for color correction and the brightness kinda defeat the purpose. I guess you are right if I am to CC I need full on quality otherwise it’s just not as accurate.

    Thanks

Well I removed the Huffyuv clip and replace it with the original and it imported fine through the script, I do have to time remap the clip in AE because it wouldn’t take the slo-moed version in Vegas.

As for the cropping both first and last clip still have the same crop. Looks like they conform to the composition setting of 720p even though they are still in 1080 in Vegas.

    Any way around that?

    Go to

    Options
    -Preference
    –Editing Tab
—Go to “New still image length”

Enter the desired duration, click apply and your done!

If you jpegs are already on the timeline you won’t see any changes, simply delete them and drop them back onto the timeline

    Michael,

Those two questions are quite vague, please narrow your thoughts down by being more precise.

For instance, what do you intend to shoot? Is it for professional purposes or is it personal? What exactly is your budget and how much time are you willing to spend on learning the new equipment?
