    HI,

I just discovered this neat script that allow Vegas/AE workflow. I was so hoping for this as I really wanted to color correct through Colorista.

Importing the clip was fine except for:

-I apply a crop in the first clip, once it is imported in AE the crop doubles.

-For an unknown reason the 2 last clip of my project do not import in AE. The first of the two is a slo-moed clip who is now encoded in Huffyuv. As for the last one see below

The first and last clip are in 1080/30p whereas the rest of the project is in 720/60p. Both Vegas and AE projects are set to the latter. The first clip is imported fine in AE but not the last.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

ps, I also know that I could framserve out of Vegas and into AE. I know how to frameserve out of Vegas but which option allow me to frameserve in AE, in other words how do I open the filepost in AE

[Philippe Gosselin] “-I apply a crop in the first clip, once it is imported in AE the crop doubles.”

I’m surprised the crop translates at all. I couldn’t say why it would douible. I thought it would be lost.

If the clip uses the 32-bit Hufyuv codec and you are using the 64-bit version of AE, this could be why it’s not importing. The last clip might be ignored because the previous failure.

Well I removed the Huffyuv clip and replace it with the original and it imported fine through the script, I do have to time remap the clip in AE because it wouldn’t take the slo-moed version in Vegas.

As for the cropping both first and last clip still have the same crop. Looks like they conform to the composition setting of 720p even though they are still in 1080 in Vegas.

    Any way around that?
