Try working with one monitor. If that works you know its something you’ve done watching the video!
Check that you haven’t moved the OS menu bar to the second monitor

Have you made sure you are not looking at the alpha?
The three little buttons on the top of the canvas window – select the right hand side one then check the dropdown menu. Should be RGB not alpha.

Why don’t you try a test with both at a reseller?
I’ve used both and I only run Blackmagic in my shop 🙂
Aja & Blackmagic both make good products. However I suppose I’m still bitter about being abandoned by AJA with the Kona1.
Bottom line is do your own research/evaluation and don’t trust forum posts

Yes, I use this all the time when making templates so the media gets bundled with the project.
It does sound like a permissions issue – try repairing the permissions first using disk utility.Also have you tried saving elsewhere?

Have you done the crossgrade? If not your PPC version of Motion won’t work on an intel box.

Why don’t you use Motion to oprn up the image sequence first and then export a quicktime.
Quicktime player does this too.Peter
