How many times a day will the video be viewed? I really urge you to think Youtube or Vimeo as my maximum video has been 60gig in a day hosting video myself.

Ok I run about 4 websites that use Joomla and using the AllVideo plugin, you can use just about any format.

However, if you are doing video, Youtube & Vimeo are the only way to go, unless your subject matter is confidential. You can still hide the vids on the youtube/vimeo indexing though.

I’d check to see if you can layoff some straight DV material to the machine.

Why dis you go for DVCPRO? You should be using a DV 25fps timeline.

Hi,

Just make everything in HD first (being careful to frame stuff so that it won’t get cutoff in 4:3) and then convert those files to SD 4:3 in compressor.

You will get some horrendous flicker when trying to shoot 25 fps on a 5D in the US. Shoot at 29.97 and then convert.

You won’t lose the Nattress filters on your timeline as they are written in FxScript and actually get stored ‘within’ the FCP project.

However, a fresh instal is always a good idea and using the latest intsallers from plugin vendors assures compatibility.
