Hey everyone. I have a client that needs final product to be in both 16:9 HD and 4:3 SD, is there an easy way in Motion to get this done? It’s for a HD DS network but also needs to be shown on 2 SD LED boards. I usually render out to H264 which can be used by both the network and the software controlling the boards. Problem is, content on the boards is letterboxed when broadcast. No big deal except that the boards aren’t big enough for the application as it is and letterboxing makes things even smaller. I need an easy solution to this as I’m on a tight budget. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

    Hi,

Just make everything in HD first (being careful to frame stuff so that it won’t get cutoff in 4:3) and then convert those files to SD 4:3 in compressor.
