it doesn’t need to be an HD monitor. Just a monitor to showcase the footage to clients to monitor and review. But I would like to impress them. I thought of using HDlink and a Cinema Display – but read that didn’t work too well.

as it was the piece was lost was only a couple of seconds and was non-critical. But is there a way to overcome this problem?

in the US the DMCA (1998) makes it an offense to circumvent any copy protection mechanism wether or not the material you are seeking to access is copyrighted

just select all the folders and go Render all.

I meant setting keyframes before and after the clip is visible. So if, for instance I apply a slow dissolve the clip scales up through the dissolve rather than starting half way through it. I can do it ok but I’m working blind.

I agree Bret. For some reason you can’t smooth position keyframes either. One other problem with FCP’s motion setting is that setting keyframes outside the visible area is kind of clumsy.

I don’t think you will find one – its a mechanical switch. I never found one that worked on the SD XL’s and the XLH1 goes one step further – it requires that you push a button in and then slide it towards you.
