The reason you are not seeing any change when you rotate the Null is due to the fact that you linked the Extruded Text rotation parameters to the Null rotation parameters but you are changing the Null Orientation and not Rotation parameters.

To verify this, twirl down the Null object in the timeline so that you reveal the Rotation parameters and adjust the Y rotation value – you should see that the text rotates along with the movement of the Null.

To use the rotator in the comp window to adjust the Rotation values you must select Rotation at the top menu bar in After Effects. It is set to Orientation right now (at least I would assume that this is the case.)

Well to explain this, we must ask the question, what is the Library Browser? The answer is that the Library Browser contains animated project templates, sans media. Loading a project from the Library is akin to opening a new composition, and you have the option of inserting this new composition into the current composition or replacing the current composition with the new composition. This is why the text and style information is “lost” when you select one of the compositions from the Library.

The workflow that I would suggest is that you first select the animation that you want from the library, then change the text and style of the imported Composition. And if you have a piece of text that you want to use with the animation from a composition in the Library, use the “insert” function instead of the “replace” function to bring the composition in from the Library; then you can copy and paste the text from the composition that you started with into the newly imported composition from the Library.

You just need to make sure that you apply the blur filter to the track that you want to blur and not to the whole timeline. If this is not clear please let me know and I’ll help you to understand how it works.

The default setting for the most recent version of the filter, which is the version that I recommend you use, is set so that after you click on the Analyze button, the clip is stabilized and will automatically be resized so that the image fills the frame on every frame.

Are you using the very latest version of the filter? You can click on the about button at the top of the filter to determine whether this is the case. What are you seeing post image analysis?

One thing to keep in mind is that image stabilization can be an iterative process, and sometimes you have to make adjustments to some of the settings before you will achieve the desired result. Sometimes you even need to stabilize the clip, and then apply the filter a second time to truly lock down the camera. It all depends on the footage that you are working with.
