    Hello,

While the hard copy CD version of Red 3 GL does indeed include a trial version of the Intelligent Assistant, we do not offer this as a download from our site. It is not included in the downloadable version of Red 3 GL because it would make the downloadable file too big.

    I hope this helps,

    Peter.

    Hello,

We’ll try to reproduce the issue in-house to see if we can discover what this issue is. I’ll reply again to the list once we have reached that stage – also, please feel free to email me directly at peterm@borisfx.com.

    Cheers,

    Peter.

    Hello,

Unfortunately we do not offer BCC 3 any more – once we revved the product from BCC 3 to BCC 4 we stopped offering the BCC 3 trial version and backward compatibility, ie sharing settings from a project made with BCC 4 to BCC 3, is not something that is supported. I doubt very much that it will work actually. You should install BCC 4 on both machines in order to do what you have described. And yes, you can move a project that uses BCC filters from Macintosh over to a Windows based machine (or vice versa) and the filters should look identical, whether they were created with the trial or the full version.

    I hope this helps,

    Peter.

    Hi,

I’ve tried to reproduce the issue that you are seeing but alas, the filter appears to be working correctly on both the Windows and Macintosh systems in my office. Would it be possible for you to outline a set of steps that you followed that consistently causes the crash? Are you using the latest version of Red? Are you using the latest version of Knoll Light Factory? What type of system are you using this on? Are you using Red as standalone or the plug-in? If you are using it as a plug-in, then what host environment are you running?

Sorry for the barrage of questions but your answers to these will assist me in determining what is causing the crash.

    Cheers,

    Peter.
