Hi, we don’t publish anything other than the read me. I suggest you make a back up of your database and export project files if you are part way through a project.

There is no database change with this upgrade so it should be quick… for Mac OS X just download and run. For windows, un-install your old version first. Note for Linux, there is a rocket driver change.

Not sure Von but did you flip the source clips in the Media Pool?
    If not, try that.

  • Wha was the file extension before you renamed it to .mov?

  • The Backup button is used for PostGre database users. As a Disk based DB user you can back up the projects with a normal file backup/copy. There is a section in the manual that describes this.

  • You should reconsider the current release version. 9.1.1.
There are a number of improvements compared to 9.0.4

Have you read the Resolve config guides?

Are the old projects on your current database? Or an old database that needs upgrading? You should be able to open the old projects and grade as normal.

Hi, I have heard of a similar issue when the dongle was not recognized. Are you using Resolve Lite? Or full version? What model MacBookPro?
We are btw on Resolve 9.1.1 now so R8 is more than a year old.

March 8, 2013 at 5:03 am in reply to: Static Noise clips?

Hi, you don’t mention the system details or OS. Is the project and clips fine if you open the project again?

There is a known GPU/OS issue in the sleep process that is out of the Resolve app control and it might be this you are seeing. We recommend you turn off the energy saver settings and before you complete your session, save the project and exit. Then open the project cleanly when you next come back to the machine.

If this is not the issue you will need to offer some more detail.

Oops.. I just realised again you are on Windows so App Store won’t help.
Can you call your local BMD support line and seek their assistance.
