    Jaysri,
Glad you fixed it.I find that sometimes bracketing the clip with extra blank seconds before & after gives you a buffer for editing. I’ve had BT for years now and I’m still learning new tricks.
If you go to the gallery in user guide you’ll be amazed at what some clever people can do with it.

Plus some of the shows are downloadable so you can edit them to your specs. Have fun, pete.

Hi Russel, One of the best text or titling programs I use is Bluff Titler…lots of bang for your buck…website I beleive is Outerspace Software or some such. Pete.

Never mind…audio is back again. Dont know what happened but I had restarted Vegas a few times and rebooted the comp twice to no effect. Came back an hour later and the sound was back, both in the rendered file and the original capture…go figure.

Thanks guys, the clip in question is a seperate 10 sec shot so doesn’t need to match a previous one, lighting wise. It’s mainly facials against dark backgrounds so I can concentrate on the skin tones mainly. Thanks again, Pete.

Hi Max, there’s a free program I use for that only and it’s called Route Generator…easy download and you can import your picture or map to use as a background…just draw a route line with the mouse from a start point to a finish…you have control over the line thickness and colour…also they give you basic icons, such as a car, train or bus to place at the start of the line. You just hit animate and the job’s done…export as normal. You can even paste a photo of your own vehicle as the icon used…best thing…the price is right!, Pete.

Hi Diego, I’m running Vegas 9 but I think the plug-in is the same. I had a similar problem where the clip was shot from a low angle and had a lot of sky in it.

I used the circular “cookie cutter” effect with a lot of “feather” so that the edges of the clip had a dark “burned-in” look. The scratches then showed up a bit more…Pete.

Hey Patti, what model Canon do you have?…I’ve just captured 2 hours of HD from my XHA1s without a hitch. I’m using SV 9.0e. Maybe it’s a SV 10 issue…big help, right?, Pete.

You might want to give Bluff Titler a try. Some of the titling effects will blow you away and it’s cheap for what it delivers, Pete.
