Hi Russel, One of the best text or titling programs I use is Bluff Titler…lots of bang for your buck…website I beleive is Outerspace Software or some such. Pete.

Hi Pete,
I have started using Bluff titler this week. It works fine. But When I export it as a movie, the rendering is found incomplete. For example, if I add sparkles it works with preview. But when rendered, the last frame ends well before and the sparkling frames at the end are found missing in the exported movie.
I have set text rotations as X 37.44 and Y 360.00.After rotation, the text stands still and starts sparkling In preview it works alright. When exported,Even the rotation is not complete in the final movie.Even if I increase the duration, the result is the same

File format :Uncompressed AVI with transparency (for using in SV Pro 11)
Advanced : Include last frame
Frames 29.97 NTSC 29.97
Antialiasing quality :Software AA High qauality
Can you help me to sort out this

A little thinking has solved this problem. I have brought the end key frame just a few secs before.

Glad you fixed it.I find that sometimes bracketing the clip with extra blank seconds before & after gives you a buffer for editing. I’ve had BT for years now and I’m still learning new tricks.
If you go to the gallery in user guide you’ll be amazed at what some clever people can do with it.

Plus some of the shows are downloadable so you can edit them to your specs. Have fun, pete.

Glad to see your response. Went thru’ the gallery and found it impressive. BTB, I came across one Slide show tool to create video wall / sphere. How can I download it and include in the BT presets.Or is there some other s/ws dealing this type of f/x

As far as I know you can go to the gallery, click on products,then videowall tool which opens up a screen that you can modify and play with…never tried it myself tho, Pete

Sorry to disturb you.
When I render bluff titler titles with lens flare, sparkle effects, the luminance is lost in the output and I get only discs/ circles moving in the exported movie. What wrong am I doing?
Reder settings:
Uncompressed AVI with Transparency
29.97 NTSC
Software AA high quality

Any chance of posting a screen shot, maybe before render and after render plus any settings
you used. Maybe I can duplicate it and see what’s wrong. Pete.

Thanks for your immediate response.After playing with several settings I have solved it myself. The problem, as you have said is in the settings. That is before rendering, I have to go to Settings and select “Reset all settings “
