I am having trouble capturing video using Vegas 10.d. I have tried on 3 computers
Also a guy at work has also tried. Does anyone have any idea as to why. Checked
the settings on the camera and that is correct. Also tried capturing the tapes
on a Panasonic using fire wire still didn’t work. Its almost like Windows doesn’t like fire wire anymore. -

For some strange reason, certain Canon cameras and Vegas do not play nicely together.
Try HDVSplit (it’s free) and see if that works for you. -
Hey Patti, what model Canon do you have?…I’ve just captured 2 hours of HD from my XHA1s without a hitch. I’m using SV 9.0e. Maybe it’s a SV 10 issue…big help, right?, Pete.
