Keep praying boys. I’m sure Apple “pro” is listening.

For me, FCP (all flavors) doesn’t pass the stink test.
It smells bad for a few years, then it disappears unannounced.
    That’s a feature I can do without.
Re-calibrating my business around the whims of a consumer products company is undesirable.

Thank you very much. Have a nice day!

    Thank you for the input.

I’m thinking the latency offset in software is to sync the GUI to the external video monitor.
    I am wrong about that?

I’m not concerned about the computer monitor and video monitor syncing.
I monitor sync on the external video monitors.

It’s that I have two external monitors and when using Media Composer the HDMI feed from Nitris is in sync but the SDI to FSI is out of sync.

The odd thing is that when I’m using Davinci or Premiere, both video monitors are in sync.

Thank you for testing this Sasha.

What I’ve found after further investigation is that if I place a single clip in a new timeline by itself, it plays perfectly in media, edit, and color. But when there are multiple clips in the timeline (22 minutes trt in this case) playback drops to 5 or 6fps if I switch to the edit page and hit play.

To reiterate, this only occurs with F5 footage. If I avoid the edit page during a grading session, everything works as expected. If I switch to edit page and press play, I end up having shut down and restart Resolve. Unfortunately my client does not want his footage transcoded to ProRes prior to grading.

No, the 780s are not flashed for Mac.
    They live in the Cubix.
The Quadro 4000 is used for GUI and is a Mac version, hence the boot screen.
GPUs sitting in your Cubix can be for PC or Mac.

I’m running two GTX 780 6GB GPUs in Cubix and for the cost of the 780s I’ve been very pleased with the performance. Check my system specs below . . .

Where is the setting to engage GPU debayering of RED footage?
I can’t locate it in the manual and have obviously overlooked it in the settings panel.
