What is the intended audience? Viewing in computer vs viewing on TV are 2 differnt animals. Why do you want to compress it from 3.6 to MPEG2 format? For export to DVD? Or for later edit?

This is very obvious, but, could it be, you did not turn on your pc sound card? Or it is not working? Try to open other sound files first…

    Good luck…

First, let me start by saying I am providing you some insight assuming you know the copyright rules…

    1. What format is your “ripping”? (i.e. MP3? Wav? WMA?????)
    2. Can you open up Windows File Explorer to see them?
    3. Clarification, if you are using AP 6.0, I am not sure if MP3 is supported. Even nowadays, if I am going to do an edit, I often use .wav)

    Hope these help.

Again, how credible is your source about ‘next version’ release? Even though Adobe ‘always’ keep its secret to the last minute, last time, there were some leaks… therefore, not ‘always’?

You can preview at any time, usually no time lags. Only render after your product is finished. In fact, if you client needs is DVD or web… then render to that format. Don’t render to another DV avi.

Vincent, Thanks for your response. I never thought of that, let me check… Yah, you got it, it is mono. Why does it matter? Can I made it stereo in PPro or do I have to do it outside PPro? Thanks in advance.

    Steve or others,
Would you teach me how to make something like that in Photoshop?

    Thanks.
