Oo, personally, there are a few things I would like to see in CS4:
    1. Keying improvements (I know you should do that in AE, but for a poor man like me, I can not afford AE).
    2. Improve capability to edit some sounds and add more sound effects.
    3. deshaker
    4. ability to use flash files (import)
    5. faster encoding, especially for H.264.

My advice would be, tape some commericials and get some idea. Watch you-tubes or other sites like that for how people do things.

Thank you all, I got the concept finally. I just wish there is a faster way of doing so. Thanks again.

I think I finally got it, but is there a easier way of creating transitions? Other than trimming back some frames and trimming forward others?

  • Where are you seeing the jumpy and flickers? In preview windows? Windows Media Player? What’s your machine specs? Ever try to burn a test DVD to see if it is still jumpy? Could it have to do also with “interlace” problem?

If you are rendering just the portion of the animation, it should not take 30min. Just couple. Perhaps you need to check or uncheck “Optimized Still” option in the general tab?

    Hope this help.

These 2 videos are 1min longs (60x30frames, why would there be not enough frames?), same video (avi) that I just tried to test the transitions.

    P.S.: These are not sub-clips!

The files get huge? Each file is not that big, the reason you have so many because each file represent 1 frame. As far as doing the typing effect in PPro, I guess you can animate a keyframe with a track matte… You can do this easily with Premiere elements also.

  • The difference between using swf2avi vs not is “transparency”.

swf2avi > import swf into this software, then export as tga sequences with transparency.

Or do in flash, export as AVI or TGA sequencee if possible, import into PPRo. (There is a converter that will convert swf2avi as well that can import swf and make it .tga sequences with transparency.)
