Set a keyframe at the beginning of the layer. Set a keyframe at the end of the layer. Select both keyframes. Go to Window ->Wiggler->and select the frequency and magnitude.

No go. I’ve imported it using every option I could and it always comes in as a flat file.

    Great tip. I’ll try it.

This is what I have resorted to. Not a big deal except I was having trouble with Freehand 10 in OS X.4.2 so I had to create the file on my laptop (OS X.3.9) and then switch it over to my Tower to open it in Illustrator. But it worked. Thanks. I think I just made my most favoritest (I know it’s not a word) 3D logo.

Actually, it was 3.1.1 that wouldn’t accept my code so I went back to a 3.1.0 version that Zax emailed me (a pre-release) and so far it has been working great (knock on wood). Let’s hope it keeps on running smoothly.

Well I found an email that came directly from the Zax boys containing a 3.1.0 pre-release that seems to work but my object styles are all gone. I’ve tried to load a library but only 3 styles appear. What am I missing? The 3.1.0 download of the pre-release only had the plugin, not any other folders of libraries or styles.

Boy it will be nice to get this working again.

I sure wish Creative Cow would let me edit these posts.

AND I have just upgraded my video card to a 9600, which the Zax website says has known issues (I just read that), but I need the 9600 to run Apple’s Motion. This blows.

    Thanks guys. Simple solution indeed.

  • Copying the sequence into a new comp did the trick. Cheers.

I probably would have tried that eventually but you definately save me from hours of frustration and a lot of broken furniture.

  • This kind of blows. The import window does not give me the option of importing as ‘project’ and dragging the Photoshop comp to the timeline is not very helpful as there are many individual elements I want to animate in the main composition. It would be very tricky to have to open the PSD composition to make any changes that I want to see in the main comp (or am I missing something, very possible).

I swear to god this didn’t use to happen. I have very clear memories of opening numerous layers and having them all maintain their positions relative to the PSD.

    Am I on crack?
