That would be my suggestion. What’s kinda cool is that you can ingest that clip and mark it with 5 different subclips and then just save the project. When you import that one clip into PPro you’ll get it and the 5 subclips come along for the ride.

That might be CS6 behavior. It’s not like that in CC. Sorry for the confusion. In CC when you make a subclip the naming dialogue box even has the Restrict option right under the name field.

Right click on the subclip in the Project bin. Select Edit Subclip. Uncheck the Restrict Trims To Subclip Boundaries.

The client was Showtime and it was all done in good fun, but it certainly got the point across. Designers just poking at each other.
Though I like your version with the money materialising (with the s instead of a z). Makes it seem more classieriest.

If you would like to have AVCHD file structure of just the select clips from each card you need to use Prelude. You could load the SD card into your computer, open in Prelude, pick your selects and ingest with the Transfer to New Destination option checked. This will build a new AVCHD copy of just your selects and maintain the AVCHD file structure wherever you choose to have it created.
I’d make a copy of the entire card as well as backup. But if you want to maintain the file structure and get rid of all the clips you don’t need then do it through Prelude.

Yeah, I kept re-reading the original post certain I was missing something. Copy the entire cards, save for later. Organize/create new AVCHD sets in Prelude.

Oh. So you don’t have an effects tab from your Media Export window. Strange. Have you tried queing the sequence in AME and applying the burn in there?
