You can use fcp 7
You can use Mediacomposer
You can use Premiere
You can use fcp X
You can use Smoke
I heard quantel is getting ready for osx aswell.Sounds like a luxury problem to me.

I had the same experience when watching the complete presentation.
People are just scared for change and the look of imovie which is not.
The reality is that fcp7 was old code. They couldnt just fix that and except to be stable.
People also react like they cant use fcp7 anymore. If you have a macpro with fcp7
Dont worry!! It will run for much years to come!!

That’s indeed the problem. FCP 7 requires users to think before they edit.
FCP will import anything!!
You can even import a MPG file and start editing.
Or an AVI file.Which will be the same in FCP X, but hopefully it won’t crash then 🙂

I’m really wondering about 3th party plugins.
Will it support AudioUnits ( including visual representation of the plugin )
Will it Support FXPlug?Beside this i’m pretty positive aswell.
I just hope it doesn’t cut like iMovie. Because the latest iMovie is terrible 😛 -
