Your sequence settings is wrong
Also check the properties of your clips.

DaVinci Resolve used CUDA only before.
Now also uses OPEN CL.

I’m sure FCP X will scream on GPU, all cores and all the ram.
Who knows maybee you can add future Thunderbolt iMacs in the chain aswell!!

Thanks for the answer! I understand.
It would be nice though, in case of a 13/15” MacBook Pro to be able to add another Apple LED display in the chain.
Is this a technical limitation?

Your fcp7 will run for a long time.
Even fcp 6 runs great on snow leopard
Fcp x is a new piece of beta software with huge capabilities.
Test it , use it. Then judge it and come to conclusions.
In that order.
