    Hi
Is there a trick to import a panorama of 16000 x 1440 px into FCP and render it without having the out of memory. I have plenty of RAM (32 Gb) and 500 Gb of free space on the disk. I know that the limit is 4 Gb before FCP X but still… I just one to do a panning through a long panorama. And I have restarted and just started FCP.
    Please help!
    Paul

Your image is to large for Final Cut Pro. There is a physical limit to the image size. No more than 4000X4000 or no more than 16,000,000 pixels. Otherwise you will get that out of Memory Error everytime. I would suggest doing your Panorama shot in After Effects, I think even Motion will not be able to render out your image.

You could try Motion. Or after effects.
Fcp is a no go for this size

If you must do this in FCP spilt it up in to 4, 4k x 1440px stills in PS.

I am also facing this problem of Out of memory in my systems. I am working on Apple ProRess 422 HD (1920 x 1080i). I am working on SAN 96 TB, Mac Pro 2 X 2.26 Quad Core with 8 GB RAM, AJA Kona LHi capture card.

The problem that we are facing frequently is FCP quits unexpectedly and also many times the message “out of memory” pops up.
We then need to restart the system then it works for 5 to 10 minutes then again same problem, some times it works OK for an hour or so.

    Please suggest.
