Will BLUE work with Sony Vegas Pro 9 (or 10)?

    Thanks again

Also, I should have mentioned as well will the Training DVDs for BCC (Adobe, Avix, Apple) be relevant for Sony as well? Will I be able to follow along, or will there be training DVDs for Sony Vegas Pro as well?

Thanks, Peter. Soo..would not I go wrong by getting all three of them?
I’ve downloaded all of the trials, and am currently working with Graffiti (I like it) so RED is definitely in the bucket. Being a Vegas Pro user, BCC is a no-brainer. But I’m interested in BLUE as well.

In your opinion will getting all three be over kill? I want to be set for all kinds of editing. I don’t like getting saddled with buying something than being hit with “Oh you have to buy this also! And this, and this, and that!” Reallusion’s dopey-crappy iClone 4 Standard comes to my haunting mind, grrrrrrrrr >>:((

    Thanks.

I used the Pre-rendered option, and it doesn’t crash after a viewing. But is it normal to cut the previews into little bits? I selected a 29 second clip and it pre-rendered it into 4 separate clips. Is that normal?

That’s what I thought, just wasn’t aware of the IE temp folder thing. I thought it would go the temp folder specified in Vegas. Thanks

If you’re still out there….I had an issue where I needed to make a hard copy record of all my Sony keys and such. Guess what, they’re stored in your Windows registry. Mine is here:

    My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Creative Software\Vegas Pro

then select the version. The entry marked CurrentKey has the Serial first, then Activation key. The serial is also listed under MID(serial key)

January 7, 2010 at 2:30 am in reply to: Not enough memory? WTFIS!!!

I’m having the same problem with Vegas giving me “The system is low on memory” errors. And there is enough RAM. I was trying to render a…..17 second clip. And it halts the render with that message!! It’s just a two 4 sec vid clips and a pic with a rose falling beside it. Nothing big at all.

I never had this problem with Vegas 8.

  • Have the same issue….

I’ve done this and it doesn’t appear to work. It worked for the Menu background with it’s music. But when I drag my main movie onto the Menu page and create the Selection menus and navigate to the menu page with the movie and preview it there is no sound.

Did I miss a step? Like i said it worked with the menu background just as you said, the main movie not so much.

  • Its been a week since you asked this question so may have moved on or found the solution elsewhere.

If not, then go to preferences/general tab and de-select the “Skip drive database, autodetect drive capabilities”. Then restart dvd architech. This will stop it from loading its default config. file and poll the hardware directly.

    hello
