This is the version I still currently use. It’s the last version officially licensed/owned by Sony, so you won’t find it for sale anywhere, as Magix owns the license to the Vegas NLE.<div>
Even if you got an installation executable, it is not likely your current Product Key or Licence will activate it. Plus, you’re not likely to get a working one from Magix.
But, I may be wrong on both points.

I assumed one could open multiple projects by “<b style=”background-color: transparent; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; color: var(–bb-body-text-color);”>Nesting projects”? This is no longer the case with the current versions? In this way, one could copy and paste from one project to another, as I have done.
(I still use Sony Vegas 13 Pro)

Oooohhh, you just popped a memory bubble in my head.
I actually, had this same issue with Vegas Pro 12 or 13. I’m struggling to recall what the resolution was…I *think* it had something to do with QuickTime needing an update for BorisFX previews to show in Vegas Pro, I *think*.
(I don’t why that emoji got so big)But, I did have this issue as well; the only thing I can recall it was software related. OORRR Maybe you just need to refresh the BorisFX license.
Man, I wish I could recall how I fixed it. Wait for BorisFX, they’ll set you right.

My best guess is a licensing issue between MAGIX, BorisFX, and FXHOME.
One of them should be able able to settle it. v17 is a new release, so it could be licensing.hello

THIS is true (BCC 8 support for Vegas Pro 13). I was surprised to read this thread. Perhaps you need to update Vegas Pro 13. Mine has BCC 8 and it has no issues….
Aaaaaand I just went to my NLE and was found that I just lied to you.
I have 7. Ignore everything I said.
Hmmm? Well upgrading to 8 from 7 is 300$, sooooo what would the upgrade price be for 8 to 9? Maybe lower than 7 to 9? Or maybe BorisFX really wants us pay the full price for 9 either way? I can’t find any upgrade path from my version to 9.
But, I can’t believe BCC8 wouldn’t work for Vegas Pro 13, if BCC7 does.
