    Hi,

You’ve got me stumped (I say while shrugging my shoulders!).

    Damaged installer DVD disks.

    Bad sectors on your harddrive.

Tried copying the themes from your other machine which it works on.

    Hope someone can help you!

    Hi,

When in final cut go to the browser window and select your individual clips, not sequence. Then when the viewer window opens select filters, it should be there.

    Hi,

Have you tried to creating a temp user account and see if when logged in as them, it has the same effect.

    Hi,

I have had this problem before for both mastering to beta and dvd, what I didn’t know was that final cut was adding shift fields to the individual clips filters. Once I un-selected it everyhting was fine.

Also I thought dvd studio ntsc had to be 30fps.

    Hi,

Have you tried to run disk utility and fix permissions?

    Hi,

Are you running the latest version of motion or tried to update it?

    Hi,

Try using disk utility and fix permissions.

If possible try opening on other mac running motion.

As for going back to your previous system it depends on what you mean and how, I would just try reinstalling mac os 10.4 again and choose to put your current system as backup. So at least the new installation will have all your settings such as apps, email, desktop layout.
