Everything is great until I make the DVD. I still get a slight flicker on movement.

My settings on compressors inspector are as follows.

    File Format Mpeg-2
    Ext M2v
    Video Format NTSC
    Rate 29.97
Aspect 16:9 (material is shot HDV 1080I60 16X9)
    Field Dominance Bottom First

    Do you see anything wrong?
Thank you so much for your help.

    1080i/60 is Upper Field First.

    Hi,

I have had this problem before for both mastering to beta and dvd, what I didn’t know was that final cut was adding shift fields to the individual clips filters. Once I un-selected it everyhting was fine.

Also I thought dvd studio ntsc had to be 30fps.

Where do I un-select this in FCP?

    Walter,
Do you think by adding a Nattress film effect (GFilm Extra V2.5.1)
would cause me problems as well. I changed the field dominance and it made some
difference but the effect could still be causing this blurr/flicker on movement
    on the DVD burn?
    Thanks!

    Hi,

When in final cut go to the browser window and select your individual clips, not sequence. Then when the viewer window opens select filters, it should be there.
